We are down to the final 2 days until Christmas! Thank you Mark for beer #23 of the Brewstravaganza. Bliss (8%) is a hazy double IPA from Thin Man Brewery out of Buffalo, New York. It is a delicious, blissful beer to start the week leading up to Christmas day. Bliss has a light hazy, gold body with a light texture. It boasts flavors of dank pine, ripe citrus, mango, and melon. Thin Man Brewery is a microbrewery located in Buffalo, New York and opened in 2016. The owners are born and raised in Buffalo and strive to try and put Buffalo on the craft brew map.

The beer a a subtle sweet and hoppy flavor as it is brewed with over 30 pounds of Organic West Virginia Cascade hops. This beer is brewed with hops grown by family friends of the owners. Big Timber Brewing Company is a microbrewery that opened their doors in 2014 and is located in Elkins, West Virginia.

The name may be fitting for the time of year as Christmas shopping time winds down! Goin' Broke IPA is brewed with oats and blended with Citra and Mosaic hops. The flavor also has hints of grapefruit and pine. Pour Man's Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in Ephrata, PA. It opened in 2018 in a former butcher shop. It is a family friendly atmosphere for all to enjoy.

There are two other taprooms for guests to enjoy located in Auburn and Lake Placid, New York.

The elves are excited for tonight's beer! Thank you John for providing beer #19 of the Brewstravaganza. Cookies N Things (7%) is a cookies N cream and chocolate candy stout from Big Oyster Brewery. The beer is brewed with chocolate malt and pale/roasted barley. It is then conditioned with loads of candies and cookies. Buddy the Elf would love this beer (maybe with a shot of syrup). Big Oyster Brewery opened in 2015 in Lewes, Delaware. It was named  the fastest growing craft brewery in 2018. The brewery is a gathering place for family, friends, and beer enthusiasts from all over.

We are down to one week left until Christmas! Thank you Trey for beer #18 of the Brewstravaganza, Selection Fresh Hop IPA (6.9%). Selection Fresh Hop IPA comes from Industrial Arts Brewing out of Beacon, New York. A great beer to enjoy after some last week Christmas shopping! Selection Fresh Hop IPA uses fresh whole cone hops to give it a deep amber color. Flavors of citrus, pine, and melon mixed with a slight floral aroma are what to expect when popping the top of this treat. The beer finishes with a malty presence of toasty bread, caramel and toffee. Industrial Arts Brewing was established in 2014 in the Historic Garner Arts Center offering a variety of year-round and seasonal brews. They offer live music, fun-filled atmosphere, and delicious beers to enjoy with family and friends.

They offer a variety of year-round and seasonal beers that pair well with their modern American and cultural cuisine.

A tasty treat to end your Monday. My Gummy Just Kick In boasts flavors of our tropical orange juice with hints of other tropical fruit and only a slight hoppy bitterness. District 96 Beer Factory is a microbrewery out of New City, New York. It opened in 2017 and was the first brewery in the area. Big flavored beer and comforting, casual food is what District 96 aims to bring to the table.

This is a tasty beer and great way to end the week. Peace Maker has a thick, creamy (hey now!) texture with flavors of peach, mango, and mandarin orange. South County Brewing Company started in 2011 in Fawn Grove, PA. In 2022, they just opened their new flagship location in York, PA with a 28,000 square foot building and over 13 acres of land to enjoy their beers.

This delicious beer is perfect for beer and bourbon lovers alike. New Belgium first released Oakspire in 2018 for the holidays and has become a major hit! Oakspire pulls the flavors of bourbon-steeped charred oak and blends with a malty, sweet amber ale. New Belgium is located Fort Collins, Colorado first started in 1988 in a basement. As the brewery continued to grow, they moved into their current location in 1995 where it continues to produce delicious beers.

We are now 13 days in, "thats about a Baker's dozen!" Thank you Cori for beer #13 in the Brewstravaganza. Merry Monks (9.3%) is a Belgian-style tripel from Weyerbacher Brewing Company. The high percent ABV is the perfect way to start the weekend off on the right foot! It has a complex flavor profile of spice, banana, and pear and slightly dry finish. Weyerbacher opened in 1995 in Easton, PA. The brewery is always looking to stretch their creativity and create big bold flavored beers.

Thank you Melissa for beer #12 of the Brewstravaganza. Best of Both Brews (6.6%) is a coffee IPA that comes from St. Boniface Craft Brewing Company. This beer mixes two of life's necessities, beer and coffee. It boasts a roasty, smooth flavor of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee from Whiff Roasters and mixed with Pacific Northwest hops. A great after dinner beer to enjoy while watching Thursday night football. St. Boniface Craft Brewery is located in Ephrata, PA and opened in 2010. In 2024 Pour Man's Brewing Company purchased St. Boniface, but they still use the name and brewery in Ephrata.

Cranberry Shandy is a mixture of tart and sweet. It has citrusy smooth cranberry flavor. As we are now a Baker's dozen days away from Christmas Eve, this is the perfect beer to sip, bake, and enjoy those Christmas cookies. Rusty Rail Brewing Company is located in Mifflinburg, PA. The building where the brewery is located has tremendous history dating all the way back to 1850! Rusty Rail officially opened their doors as a brewery in 2013 and dedicate their beers to the hardworking families in the community that they serve.

We have hit double digits in the advent! Thank you Gordon for beer #10 of the Brewstravaganza! Big The Pine Room (4.5%) is a lager from Big Timber Brewing Company out of Elkins, West Virginia. The beer is described as a bit dry with a bit of spice and finishes with a slight piney bitterness. It was brewed in collaboration with The Pine Room podcast which is a sports and entertainment podcast hosted by 12 friends. This is the perfect beer for nice crisp night bundled up watching Christmas movies. Big Timber Brewing Company opened their doors in 2014 and is located in Elkins, West Virginia. Surrounded by never-ending forests in the heart of Appalachia is what gives Big Timber its name.

Sip back and enjoy this beer. Beer Tree Brew Company is inspired by community in New York. It opened in 2017 and has brewed over 50 New England IPAs in that time! With two locations, guests can visit The Factory to enjoy their beers or spend time outdoors at The Farm location.

It is brewed with Sitiva and Cryo Ekuanot hops and has a piney, apricot flavor profile. Enjoy this beer with family and friends as we get another day closer to Christmas! Fegley's Brew Works is out of Bethlehem, PA.  Fegley's opened its doors in 1998 and has two locations in the Lehigh Valley. They offer a variety of different beers and work with local business and farmers to support the community.

This hop-tastic beer  takes on a flavor profile of pine, grapefruit, citrus, and pineapple. It is the more mature version of Fat Head's staple beer, Head Hunter IPA, as it jumps up to 9.5% ABV. Hops is word for drinking this tasty treat this weekend!

This holiday classic claims a flavor profile filled with ginger, cinnamon, and honey and blended with Mt. Hood and Cascade hops. This great beer is perfect for sipping in front of the fireplace enjoying this festive season. Great Lakes Brewing Company first opened in 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio. The brewery first debuted the Christmas Ale in 1992 and has continued to serve over 14 states in the neighboring area for over 35 years.

On the 4th day of Brewstravaganza Becca and Chris brought us a celebration in a can! Celebration IPA (6.8% ABV) is a fresh hop IPA brewed with cascade, centennial, and chinook hops with caramelized malts. The beer brings big bold citrus and pine flavors. Tis the season to celebrate, so what better way the way a Celebration IPA! Sierra Nevada Brewing Company was founded in 1980 by Ken Grossman in Chico, California. Most notably the Celebration Fresh Hop IPA made its debut in 1981. Sierra Nevada has been and still is 100% family owned for of 44 years!

Pineapple Crushin' It (8%) is a double IPA from Cape May Brewing Company. This beer is best served with family and friends to help brighten up the day. The beer is brewed with Sabro hops to help bring out the fresh pineapple juice flavor. Cape May Brewing Company was founded in 2011 and is located in Cape May, NJ. The brewery has a large taproom to enjoy a number of their beers and in the Summer months there is a relaxing outdoor Brewtanical Garden to sip the day away. The proudly serve cans and drafts throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Thank you Brandon for beer #2 of Bearded Baker Brewstravaganza 2024. Pimp My Sleigh (10.5%) is Belgian-style Christmas Ale from Fat Head's Brewery. This beer has a dark chestnut brown color and carries aromas/flavors of sweet dark malt, dark fruit, raisins, figs, and anise (HEY NOW!). The taste is described as a tad sweet with a bit of spice. This 10.5% beer is a great way to start the week off right. Fat Head's Brewery started out as a craft beer restaurant in the South Side of Pittsburgh, PA with fulfilling sandwiches and fall-off-the bone wings. Fast forward 17 years later, the brewery opened in North Olmstead, Ohio. In 2023 Fat Head's Brewery won gold in both the World Beer Cup and Great American Beer Festival. They are recognized as one of the top brewers of American-style IPAs and traditional old-world-style German brews.

Thank you Beci and Chris Pope for starting the Brewstravaganza with a banger! Griddle (10.2%) is an Imperial Espresso Stout from Burial Beer Company in Asheville, North Carolina. The Imperial Espresso Stout is brewed with Burial's very own coffee blend. It boast flavors of caramel, honey, and lactose sugars mixed with charred black malt. The expected flavor profile stated by Burial is dulce de leche, toasted pecans, and tropical spices. This is the perfect beer to start your day off at a Sunday brunch or relaxing by firelight after a long day of watching football. Burial Beer Company was opened by three friends from the Seattle area. They moved across the country to Asheville, North Carolina and opened a 1-barrel system brewery and taproom in 2013 in old transmission shop. In 2021 and 2022 they were voted #1 small brewery in the world and #1 small regional brewery in the world.

Merry Christmas Eve to all! Thank you Trey for this hazy Christmas Eve treat. Fir Tree (8.2% ABV) is a Wintry Hazy Double IPA from The Drowned Lands Brewery in Warwick, New York. This Double IPA is brewed with Mosaic and Meridian hops and fermented in house IPA yeast. It lends itself to bitter citrusy flavors of pine. It is a delicious treat to celebrate the day before the birth of Jesus with family and friends. Drowned Lands Brewery opened in 2020 at a former prison site. It is operated by 14 employees for the 15,000 foot brewery.

Thank you Tyler Baker for providing Hazy Saturday treat! Porky Pine (7.4% ABV) is a Hazy IPA from Hog & Pistol Brewing Company. This Hazy IPA has a soft  citrusy flavor with a nice little bitter bite to it. Hog & Pistol Brewing Company is a home-brewery operated by my friend Steve in central PA. He and his son, Matt combined their love for beer and food science and started brewing and canning at Steve's home. He and his son brew and can over 12 different types of beer to share with friends.
