2022--Beer #12: Santa Claws (Fat ORange Cat Brewing Company)

Thank you to Cassidy for providing the final beer of the Bearded Baker Brewstravaganza 2022. Santa Claws (9.1%) is a Double Imperial Pastry Stout from the Fat Orange Cat Brewing Company. It is a malty beer brewed with cinnamon buns. Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, especially not a mouse after drinking this "cat"tastic beer. Fat Orange Brewing Company is located in East Hampton, Connecticut. The company is named after an orange cat named Billy. As of 2021 the brewery is closed to the public and is now distribute only.

Tonight, we’re thankful to be able to gather with family. Can art is adorable, very colorful and merry. Pours like motor oil, not much to the nose. On taste Margie is a fan, this is really good, nice flavor, doesn’t taste like a 9.1 at all. 4.5 out of 5.0 Ron can taste spice and sweetness, but thinking it is rather blah as a drinking beverage, would not have a second. 3 out of 5

It’s here! The time to enjoy, share time with friends and Family! This beer was thick, poured thick, looked thick, crawled down the inside of my glass as I poured it, and climbed back up the inside of the glass as I drank it. I did finish though! Same chocolatey, coffee type taste, I struggled with this one a bit, concept sounded similar to the other ones, but very heavy for my taste! Can art was an A, a heavy blanket on the can, might have indicated the pour forthcoming, but colors were great. Now on to all the Christmas festivities and we can all enjoy the celebration of our Lord’s birth!
