Thank you to Cori for providing this Red Sweater on this chilly day! Red Sweater is. a Red IPA from Founders Brewing Company. This beer combines pine and grapefruit meshed with a red malt. Refreshingly smooth with a little bite describes this 6.5% ABV beer. This beer is sure to wrap you in warmth as we continue to head closer to Christmas.

Founders Brewing Company opened in 1997 out of Grand Rapids, Michigan since 1997. Founders Mike and Dave continue to expand year after year. Founders is one of the most recognized breweries with some of the most recognized beers around the world.

Overall, I think Red Sweater IPA is a decent beer. It has a strong taste and packs a bit of a punch for a 6.5 ABV. Not my favorite IPA ever but I would drink it again.

3.75 🍺

This is the first Red IPA we've had and we are here for it! Definitely an easy drinker. Pleasant taste with a malty punch, yet overall a mild tasting beer. Can art is simple but good just like this IPA. We both rate this one 3.5 mugs. Cheers!

Never had a Red IPA til now! Strong spicy punch to start, but mellowed out as I settled in. Malty overtones, and a great name for a seasonal beer! Can art was warm and fuzzy! Ha 3.8 mugs. Without the advent I might have never tasted it!

Love red IPAs. Not overwhelmed with the hop flavor. Well-rounded and smooth.
This one might be my favorite this far!

4.25 mugs from me! 🍺

I’ve had one or two red IPAs in the past. This is a very smooth and easy drinker. Reminds me of red velvet cake. Reading piney in the description, I was expecting a bit more of a bite, but the maltiness definitely keeps it mild. A tasty Tuesday drink indeed. I rate this 4 mugs. I’m thankful for heat and sweatshirts on this cold day! Cheers to day #9!🎄🍻

Ho, Ho, Ho this red sweater has a great taste. Not a big fan red IPA, but this one went down smoothly. I could definitely taste the hints of grapefruit in the beer. What a great can art to have for our cold winter months and Christmas season . This can helps bump the mugs up to a 3.5 for me. Wish I had a couple more of these.

Thankful for indoor plumbing today. Can art is rather pedestrian, just like a red sweater. Nice pour, color reminds me of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. The smell of pine is wafting out of the glass. Outstanding taste of grapefruit and caramel for me. 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺

Big fan of red IPAs this one did not disappoint! Great flavor and great can art! I love the hoppy and piney notes without having too much of a malty caramel taste! 3.5 mugs from me!
