Happy College Football Conference Championship Saturday and beer advent day number 6! Thank you to John for providing today's beer, 2X Juice Jolt from Southern Tier Brewing Company! 2X Juice Jolt is our second beer from Souther Tier. This Double IPA weighs in with a solid 9.5% ABV and is brewed Mosaic, Citra, Idaho 7, Simcoe, HBC630, Amarillo, and CTZ hops. This juicy beer is sure to brighten up the day!

Southern Tier continues to make delicious beers for all to enjoy for over 22 years!

Thankful to be sharing this beverage with Gordon. Can art is eye catching and gives off citrus vibe, interesting the X is made up of fruits. Gordon says good strong juice flavor, almost masks the high alcohol. I like it. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺. Ron tastes a combination of Tang, Sunny D, Vodka and seltzer. 🍺🍺🍺

Greeting fellow beer tasters! Southern Tier always offers a solid IPA and doesn't shy away from a high ABV. Juice Jolt smells amazing and definitely punches a jolt of juice! Heather loved this one and rates it a 4 on the beer mug scale but couldn't drink more than 1 or 2 due to the high ABV. Wayne enjoyed it even though it is fruitier than he would typically choose. He rates it a 3.5 on the mug scale. We are both thankful for having spent today in downtown Lititz, shopping and enjoying the Christmas season! Cheers!

The Bold punchy fruit juice flavor described it perfectly! First sip screamed adult Soda, 9.5 abv doesn’t feel it, until the end, it brings a smile! I found myself gulping the beer not sipping, a unique taste and I enjoyed it immensely! I’d keep drinking these, and as my boys know, slamming tables! Ha loved the can art, beautiful and inviting, the only thing I liked better was Tyler’s picture looked like me bringing in the beer! 4.5 mugs!

The name of this beer is spot on! It was juicy, fruity and did not taste like a 9.5 jolt that I got after! I really enjoyed this beer, the can was just ok😁 I give this one 4.5 mugs! Cheers!

This was a juicy one the smell and the taste. It would be a great drink on ice by the pool on a hot day. I give it 4 mugs.

This beer was juicy and jolty, and the name perfectly described its contents.

I can envision coach John slamming one of these before a biceps workout, giving him that extra juicy jolt.

It’s like boozy juice with a fruit label. Southern Tier never disappoints. This is another beer I’ll have to remember when sitting on the beach. 9.5% could get get us in trouble!

Wowie. Not only does Southern Tier make some not so subtle tasting beers but they also make ‘em strong! Oddly enough, I am absolutely getting the jolt of juice but I can’t quite put my finger on which type of juice it is. This is the perfect type of beer for watching your kids’ or nieces’ or nephews’ soccer games in the summer at 9-10am in a yeti to get you going for the day (Nobody tell Mike Dewalt). Overall not the type of beer I’d order again after tasting but the ABV makes it worthwhile. I give this beer a 2.6 out 5 mugs.

This is a delicious beer! Like most everyone has already stated, juicy with a jolt! Reminds me of a spiked orange soda. The vibrant orange color almost seems to send out electricity with each sip. Can art is awesome and I’m becoming even more impressed with Southern Tier through this advent! I rate this beer 4 mugs! I’m thankful that my family was able to decorate our Christmas tree tonight together! Cheers!

Ho, Ho, Ho the juice jolt is very tasty. For a double IPA I thought it was smooth to drink. Loved citrus in the beer and would love to have more of these as I watch the college football games. I would give this 4 mugs. The can art was nice but was not festive but the taste makes this a must to drink again.

No clue what those hops are but it was a nice juicy IPA after an elementary chorus concert tree lighting ceremony! 4 mugs!

The extra juicy double IPA citrus tasting 9.5% brewed by Southern tier is a beer that I would give🍺🍺🍺

A LOT of flavor. Almost like a juicy juice. The name makes sense! Not my favorite of the group this far but ‘no beer left behind’ so bottoms up!

I enjoyed this one a lot! I am sometimes hesitant with fruity flavors but this one delivered! It didn’t really taste like a 9% drink which made it even better for me. 3.5 mugs!

What super juicy IPA reminded me of getting a Hi C orange drink at McDonalds only this gives me an actual buzz rather than sugar buzz! I felt like I could’ve drank it on ice! Solid fruity beer if that’s your thing, I give this 3.5 mugs!
