Thank you to Heather for beer number 17 of the advent! IPA from Peak Organic Brewing Company is a 7.1% ABV American IPA. It is brewed with Simcoe, Amarillo, and Nugget hops which provide a hop forward flavor with citrus and floral characteristics. As gift wrapping continues this holiday, be sure not to "peak!"

Peak Organic Brewing Company is located in Portland, Maine. They are a company that looks for the freshest local ingredients to support farmers in the local community.

Ron, Margie and Gordon gathering tonight for the Brewstravaganza! Minimalist can art design is cool, Margie a fan of the mountain peaks. Where’s this Peak beer from? Print is very small, Ron breaking out the magnifying iPhone to confirm Portland Maine. Great nose smell reminds us of fragrance walking into Troegs Brewery. Ron and Gordon say this is really good, tasting pine.🍺🍺🍺🍺. Margie not a fan of IPAs and passing on the rating, although said it was better than expected from an organic brewery.

Happy Hump Day!

Can art is quite simple but the beer is very pleasant! This is a nice, clean tasting beer with a very fresh aroma. Easy drinker for sure. Happy that it's made with organic hops so no toxic pesticides or fertilizers in this brew. That means you can drink as many as you want! (; Wayne rates this one 3.5 mugs and Heather rates it 4 mugs.

After the first sip I wasn’t too sure but upon completion I’d say I did enjoy it. I like the can design and appreciate when they maintain a level of simplicity. What I don’t like it when a brewery calls their beer “IPA” as if they have run out of name ideas 😂

3.75🍺

Easy to drink IPA and the abv is perfect for a cookout. Also would be perfect to tailgate in Landover, MD for the Eagles/Commanders game ;). I taste a floral and pine with no bitter aftertaste. I give this a 4 mug. Side note: could we maybe include where these were purchased/found next year? I know some breweries have an option on their website to see which distributors carry it by zip code. Cheers!

Happy day 17 and happy that we are finally back on track after some late nights at work during busy season!! We were both excited for this beer since we love Portland Maine and one of our favorite breweries is there (Belleflower Brewing), but we were both pretty divided on this one. Maddy was unsure on the first few sips but is enjoying it the more she has. She likes that it’s a nice lighter IPA but would prefer a more hoppy taste. Brandon unfortunately did not love this one, he doesn’t like the floral taste. Maddy rates this a 3.8 and brandon gives it a 2!

A very pleasant, piney IPA taste. It’s a very smooth flavor for a 7.1%. This isn’t just a one-and-done; I could have a few of these. I could see this pairing well with some wings.

Very delicious IPA, but as a previous commenter stated, it needs a better name. 😂

A solid 4 / 5 Mugs

Can art could have been the hops forming the Mountain peaks, glorify the organic hops that you went through all the trouble for! I liked the beer, could do several of these, crisp and piney, after cutting through a foam party, must have been a bumpy ride down from Maine! This is a 4.2 on the mug scale! I enjoyed it!

The can was plain, but the beer was good! I appreciate that it’s organic and uses local ingredients, feels healthy 😁 I know a lot like a pine flavor, I like more citrus. I did enjoy this, 3..5 mugs. Yikes we are a week away!🎄

Before starting this beer advent, I would have strongly said “I do not like IPAs”. Now since being part of this group, I’ve tried so many that I can pick out different notes and I definitely like some more than others. This beer was easy to drink and pleasantly surprised me. Caleb and I gave it 3/5 mugs.

Can design was simple yet effective! Was not sure what to expect because of the lack of name to the can but I enjoyed it! Definitely could’ve have another one. Went down easy and smooth. 3.8 from me

Ho, Ho, Ho, what a simple named beer, IPA. It was great tasting beer, was easy to drink. 7.1% ABV was a plus. Now the can art was not very Christmas except for the color green. For this beer I will have to give 3 mugs

A smooth and easy to drink IPA. I did not experience the “foamsplosion” as Brandon seemed too 😂. I enjoyed this beer, I didn’t have a 7.1% bite like I expected, so a few of these could be put down in a sitting! I give this 3.5 mugs!

I like the simplicity of the can design! A solid piney flavored IPA with my preference of 7-7.5 abv. I thought this was an easy drinker! 3 mugs!!
