Thank you Ken for beer number 12 of the advent! Santa!! I Know Him! is a Farmhouse Ale made by the Evil Genius Beer Company. This Saison 7.2% beer is brewed with rose hips, chamomile, black currants, and dark candy syrup. Turn on some Buddy the Elf and enjoy this beer as we are at the midway point of Bearded Baker Brewstravaganza!

Evil Genius was founded in 2011 by friends, Luke and Trevor from Villanova University. Known for their "silly names for serious beers," Evil Genius infuses pop-culture and creativity into their flavorful beers.

Today I’m thankful to share this beer with my neighbor before the Hershey Bears game. We discussed the can art - seasonal red and green, lacking design beyond text. Smells sour, doesn’t taste sour, not sure what rose hips or chamomile offer but getting a clove like flavor. Why is it labeled as a Saison when seems to be Belgian or Christmas style ale? Getting better with each sip. Give this one 🍺🍺🍺

Can art is kind of plain on tonight's selection but the colors are festive. We like Evil Genius and have visited the Philadelphia brewery. Love the fact that they will try to brew anything and their beers are unusual. Wayne isn't a big Saison fan but says this beer is exactly as advertised. He rates it 3 mugs on the scale. Heather isn't a fan of Saison's or Belgium's so she was one sip and done. Cheers to the weekend!!

I know this was my beer but definitely not my favorite. I give it a 2.5 mugs.

The movie Elf is my favorite, so I love the can😁 The beer was a good festive choice and I enjoyed it. I give it 3 mugs. Cheer to a great weekend everyone 🍻

Ho, Ho,Ho Santa I know him was okay beer, not my favorite but was not the worst either. Had some good flavors as the beer went on. It does have a 7.2 ABV which is always a plus. I love the can art , very festive. I will give if 3 mugs.

I’ll give this on 3 mugs the can art gave it a boost! There is some good flavor but it was not one of my favorites. Still an easy drink.

The description of this beer made me a bit nervous. That being said, it was tasty. This saison was an easy drink and enjoyable as I watched some FCS college football playoff matchups! I give this a 2.5 mug ranking. I love the name and can art was fitting for the holiday season! I’m thankful that I got to spend time with my family tonight watching Palmyra basketball!

Was a good drink it one of my favorites. I’d give it a 2.8 on the mug scale. Creative design on the can and % gave it a boost!

Overall, I was not a huge fan of this beer. I think i’m just not a saison guy but I don’t drink them often so i’m not sure. Still beats drinking bud light….

We finally caught up on the advent! Being sick is the worst, but I’m kind of glad I saved this one to so close to the last because it was one of my favorites. When I finished it, I could have definitely ordered another. I’d give it 4.5 mugs. Caleb, who is still under the weather, gave it 3 mugs, but agreed with me that it was very easy to drink.
