2025--BEER #10: Oats and Joes (Pour man's Brewing Co.)

Thank Melissa for providing beer number 10 of the advent! Oats and Joes is an oatmeal stout from Pour Man's Brewing Company. The 7% ABV beer is brewed five different kids of malt and oats that is elevated with cold brew coffee. The prominent flavor of smooth coffee paired with chocolate is a great way to end the day as we climb into to double digit advent days!

Pour Man's Brewing Company is a microbrewery located in Ephrata, PA. Sam and Ryan opened the doors in 2018 after years of homebrewing. They focus on crafting quality beer for the local community and beyond.

Can art is clean, strong reference with the coffee beans. Pours dark and smells like coffee, thought there might be oat floaties but not seeing any sediment. Coffee forward taste but not overly heavy. Not tasting anything else other than coffee. We enjoy coffee flavor and give PM Oats and Joes 🍺🍺🍺🍺

Oats & Joes tastes exactly as advertised for an oatmeal coffee stout. I used to be a bigger fan of stouts and this one has reminded me why. I particularly like how Oats & Joes is brewed with cold brew.

This was a delicious stout. I don’t usually drink stouts but maybe I should start after this one! It was tasty, smooth and not a strong flavor of coffee but just right. I give it 4 mugs! Thankful for things to look forward to in so many ways😊

⭐️⭐️⭐️ .75 - we debated if it was mostly Oats or Joes we were tasting predominately but before we knew it it was Gone so I guess it’s forever up for debate!!

I'm not really a fan of scouts. This one surprised me. I really liked the taste of this one. I give it 4.5 mugs

Ho, Ho, Ho what a great beer Oats and Joes was. I wasn’t sure about this one, but holy shirt, I loved it. Would love to have this as my morning coffee instead or the boring shit I drink now before I go to work. This would make work fun again. I will give this one 4.5 mugs, would have been a 5, but the can art didn’t have a Christmas vibe. Thank you Melissa, that was excellent.

Never truly ordered a Stout out, but last year and this one really have me thinking! Taste the coffee for sure! I thought the can art was good, but left a lot of room not used on the can. This is a beer I would drink again! I enjoyed it! 4 mugs on this one!

Just Wayne tasting tonight since Heather is out with her Book Club ladies. I love a good stout and this one nails it. Oats and Joes packs a great coffee flavor with a smooth finish. I rate this one 4 mugs.

Again not a fan of stouts normal but maybe something has changed. This is another good one but I wish it had more of a coffee taste to it. Dark pour but a smooth beer. I’d give this one 4 mugs. Cheers

I said in a previous review that I wasn’t a big fan of stouts, but this one was also good, so maybe I’m a stout drinker after all. I would drink this again.

Bold and roasted. Those are the flavors I get with this beer. I was hoping for bit more chocolate flavor, but this oatmeal stout was still delicious. Can art was simple and to the point exaggerating the coffee beans. Wish I was able to drink this with a tasty brunch. I rate this 4 mugs! Cheers 🍻

Coffee and beer two of my favorite things! This beer was an excellent combination. Easy to drink and not filling but also with a great abv. All around great beer and loved the name! If you have never visited the brewery, which Melissa and I have, I highly recommend it! 4.5 mugs from me!

There’s something about a good stout. It’s like a comfort beer. Makes me feel relaxed. This one was great! Smooth all-around beer with notes of chocolate and coffee. On point!

We were both skeptical going into this beer knowing neither one of us typically enjoy stouts, but this one proved us wrong! The coffee flavor was perfect without being too overwhelming, and we both loved how light it was for a stout. We both said we would drink this beer again and that it was probably the only stout we both actually enjoyed! Always such a fun surprise tasting and loving a beer you otherwise never would have thought to try. Thanks Melissa!

I am a sucker for a coffee flavored drink and this was a great beverage! Love the splash of chocolate in there as well. 3.5 mugs for me!
