2024--BEER #4: Celebration IPA (Sierra NEvada BREWING COMPANY)

On the 4th day of Brewstravaganza Becca and Chris brought us a celebration in a can! Celebration IPA (6.8% ABV) is a fresh hop IPA brewed with cascade, centennial, and chinook hops with caramelized malts. The beer brings big bold citrus and pine flavors. Tis the season to celebrate, so what better way the way a Celebration IPA! Sierra Nevada Brewing Company was founded in 1980 by Ken Grossman in Chico, California. Most notably the Celebration Fresh Hop IPA made its debut in 1981. Sierra Nevada has been and still is 100% family owned for of 44 years!

This was a nice festive IPA with the classic Sierra Nevada can art. I enjoyed drinking this while I helped my grandma decorate for Christmas. I give it a 3.5/5 on the mug scale!

A great go to when you want that “cold outside” beer. Love the color. Goes down smooth but still full of flavor. 4/5 🍺

I enjoyed this one, as it tasted clean and complex, most likely from the 3 different hops and their unique profiles. This is definitely one I’d go back for a 2nd or 3rd and I appreciate the old Sierra Nevada can styling. 4 mugs for me. Cheers!

Thank you Becca and Christ! You can never go wrong with a Sierra Nevada Beer, I give this a 4/5. Very smooth IPA with good flavor.

Cel-e-brate good times, come on. What better way to do that is have a great beer to drink. Loved the taste of this beer and would definitely have more than one. I would give 4 mugs to this one.

I can’t take credit as Becca was the one to pick this one out. This was a great festive IPA with all the warm notes you look for on a cold evening. I give this one a 4.5/5 definitely will look out for this one.

Love the heavy hop scent, the beer screams IPA, dank and not fruity, this one is a celebration, 4/5 on the mug scale. Can art demonstrates Christmas, and the Christmas “celebration” you get drinking this fine beer!

Big fan of Sierra Nevada beers and this one doesn’t disappoint! 4 mugs from me! I was a littler nervous to read about the Carmel malts as I don’t usually like that in terms of IPAs but the pine and citrus overpowers that and I am very thankful for that! Cheers! 🍻

Great holiday IPA! I taste malt and caramel mixed with that hoppy bite of an IPA. Can art was festive and fitting for the season! I give this 4🍺s. I appreciate all of you in the advent and really enjoy reading everyone's comments on each beer! Cheers!

One of my favorites holiday beers, Celebration to all! Good color and balance of hop bitterness. 4 mugs. Another brewery we visited in North Carolina, unfortunately closed when we arrived.
