The elves are excited for tonight's beer! Thank you John for providing beer #19 of the Brewstravaganza. Cookies N Things (7%) is a cookies N cream and chocolate candy stout from Big Oyster Brewery. The beer is brewed with chocolate malt and pale/roasted barley. It is then conditioned with loads of candies and cookies. Buddy the Elf would love this beer (maybe with a shot of syrup). Big Oyster Brewery opened in 2015 in Lewes, Delaware. It was named  the fastest growing craft brewery in 2018. The brewery is a gathering place for family, friends, and beer enthusiasts from all over.

Well, well, well, I am pleasantly surprised with this beer. When I saw that it was a stout I was very hesitant because stouts are one of my least favorite. When I read cookies n things I thought maybe, and after the first sip I knew this was a different stout. I really enjoyed the taste of this beer and would definitely get this again. Thank you John for opening up my taste to at least one stout that I can enjoy. 4 mugs from me.

I’m not a huge stout fan but this is delicious. I can definitely taste the cookies. I was at a brew fest at City Island and I’m pretty sure Big Oyster had a cheesecake beer that I was in love with but I’ve never found it or seen it again. This beer reminds me why I like Big Oyster. 4 mugs!

Interesting can art, first glance very busy. Somewhat biased against Big Oyster as someone I know pinched a pint class with their logo at the Rehoboth Beach restaurant several years ago. When we finally got home the glass only held 14 ounces from a pint can! Damn beach dwellers sticking it to the common man and woman! Pours syrupy with a nice cocoa foam head. Taste buds get the cookie and cream flavor. Wouldn’t pound this beer, enjoying as a sipper dessert stout. 4 mugs.

Very surprised by this one! I normally do not like stout and I was not looking forward to this one, but it taste just like chocolate syrup to me. I give this one a 4.5/5 mugs and I could drink another one or two of these. Can art is really cool as well! Thanks for this one!

Pleasantly surprised, when I poured it into a glass and it was thick like chocolate, I wasn’t too sure I was going to like it. After the first drink, I thought. Wow, this is not bad at all.
I have drank other beers from big oyster brewery and like them as well. I will put this on my list of trying it again.
I’m giving this 3.5 🍺
Cheers 🍻

No one would have ever guessed, me picking a stout, but this advent thing brings out an open minded me…can art was psychedelic and quite wild, the pour honestly scared me, the first sip gave me a smile, I must admit Tyler Bog. Comment I read prior to trying it (chocolate syrup) really helped me mentally! I really did enjoy it! 4/5 mugs! Different for me, but I enjoyed it!

Trent and I made a visit to this brewery last year and had some of their beers, but this wasn’t one of them. Loved this one, def pushing 5 mugs for me! Super smooth and not heavy like a lot of stouts are.
