2024--BEER #16: My Gummy Just Kick In (District 96 Beer Factory)

We have hit single digit days until Christmas, 9 days away! Beer #16 was provided by Tyler Baker. My Gummy Just Kick In (8.5%) is a New England hazy Double IPA from District 96 Beer Factory. A tasty treat to end your Monday. My Gummy Just Kick In boasts flavors of our tropical orange juice with hints of other tropical fruit and only a slight hoppy bitterness. District 96 Beer Factory is a microbrewery out of New City, New York. It opened in 2017 and was the first brewery in the area. Big flavored beer and comforting, casual food is what District 96 aims to bring to the table.

Thankful for Tyler hosting the brewstravaganza advent website. Copious appreciation for his time to create grand can imagery complementing each kickin’ beer description.

Can art reminded me why the gummy bear went on a diet - feeling a little too “chewy”. Pours hazy orange with nice frothy head. I’m tasting passion fruit with a resiny aftertaste. Nice lacing on my beer glass which is typical of a good beer….4 mugs.

First I loved the name of the beer. Then I read about it and saw all the flavors in beer and was excited to try it. The 8.5 ABV is a plus too. This was a great tasting hazy double and would give it 4 mugs. Great choice Tyler.

The name on this cracked me up and loved the simple yet eloquent can art incorporating the gummies on top. Really enjoy this beer, the tropical fruit flavors really show through and it’s weathering refreshing. Almost wish I could drink this at a brunch! 4.5 🍺s for this one! Cheers! 🍻 🎅🎄

This beer definitely has a fruity gummy taste. I’m a fan. Not too hoppy. It’s awesome trying these new beers that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise. I give this 4.5 mugs and THC 0.0. Or is it referencing my 1mg melatonin gummy? Either way, I enjoyed this one Tyler!

Hazy with an absolute punch of the fruit as described. The combination of these flavors definitely give gummy bear vibes in the aftertaste which are delicious by the way. I enjoyed this beer and the can art made me wanna go buy a bag of gummy bears! 4 mugs!!

This is a good one, you can taste all of the flavors throughout each sip. Can art is pretty cool, I do think it would be better if the gummy’s were throughout the can! I give this one a 4.5! Thanks!

I was pretty excited to try this one. Tyler leave it up to you to find a crazy beer man. Overall wasn't sure what to expect with the taste but it was pretty good it had a fruitiness to it and I was really cool to try.3.5 🍺

Some IPAs use this really bitter hop and Im trying to do some research as to which one but struggling to. I’ve tasted it before too. Anyways, not bad but bitter. 2/5 🍺

Well, another great beer! This one had a great taste and goes down easy for a strong IPA! Love the gummy bear can😊 I would give this a 4🍻 cheers! Thanks for all your effort on this beer adventure,Tyler!

Loved the can art and the beer name, nice smoothness to start, I loved the fullness and great taste, after taste was also appealing! 4.5/5 Fun name, fun art, great beer!
