2024--BEER #15: Peace Maker (South County BREWING COMPANY)

We are down to 10 days until Christmas! Thank you Matt for beer #15 of the Brewstravaganza. Peace Maker (6.8%) is a New England hazy IPA from South County Brewing Company. This is a tasty beer and great way to end the week. Peace Maker has a thick, creamy (hey now!) texture with flavors of peach, mango, and mandarin orange. South County Brewing Company started in 2011 in Fawn Grove, PA. In 2022, they just opened their new flagship location in York, PA with a 28,000 square foot building and over 13 acres of land to enjoy their beers.

This a brewery we’ve been wanting to go to, and this beer is delicious! It’s a great IPA, I taste the subtle fruit and this could be a go to for me! I give it 4.5🍻 I have to catch up and comment on yesterday’s, cheers

Very smooth IPA, I can taste the peach, mango, and mandarin through each sip. I would give this one a 4/5 mugs. Can art is also pretty cool!

Thankful for watching the game with good friends, for another EAGLES win today, as well as not being a Giants fan. Original can art, why a dead skull if peaceful. Nothing more peaceful than a graveyard. What’s the dead thing – a saber tooth? Shouldn’t the deer be dead? How does this tie together?

Pours like a VA Hospital sample. Fruity on the nose, thinking it would be a good summer beer. Smooth finish and easy drinking. 4.3 mugs.

I bought a 4 pack at the Beer Cove in Palmyra for a PSU game. Loved it. Drove about an hour to the brewery in southern York to get a case for this advent. What a cool spot they have there! I don’t know if my tastes are changing but super hoppy IPA’s are no longer my go-to. So this one really hit a chord for me. 4.9 mugs (5/5 on the brewery-go check it out!) Go Birds

This is a great tasting hazy IPA. Can definitely taste the flavors while drinking this beer watching some Sunday night football. I do like the can art, a lot thought and effort in the art. I would give this beer 4 mugs.

This had a different taste to it than what I’ve tasted in most IPAs. I feel like I’d have to get used to it 2/5 🍺

Very tasty beer! I love the hazy IPAs and this one did not disappoint! I got more of the orange flavor in the beer. Easy to drink, easy to enjoy. 4.5 🍺s from me!

Really enjoyed this beer! I thought it was an easy refreshing beer that I would definitely order more of like that you get more fruit flavor than haze! The brewery is awesome if you haven’t been yet kind of like a smaller version of Treehouse in my opinion and with awesome pizzas. 4.5 mugs!
