Thank you Matt for this tasty treat! Snickerdoodle (7.5% ABV) is a Milkshake IPA from New Trail Brewing Company. It is brewed with oats, lactose, and citra hops blended with vanilla and cinnamon. Talk about a chewy Christmas cookie in the form of a delicious beer. New Trail Brewing Company was opened by Mike LaRosa in 2018 and is located in Williamsport, PA. New Trail has received over 9 awards for their various beers over the past few years.

I thought this might be a wild card, as was the sour. But isn’t that why we’re here? The first time I sipped this, I knew I wanted to bring it to Brewstravaganza. A milkshake IPA that tastes like a cookie. I taste cinnamon and vanilla carbonated at 7.5%. I’ll give this a 4.75 mug, cheers!

Milkshake IPA, did not know what I would think about this one, but found out it was very tasty. The can art is perfect the Christmas season. 7.5 is always a good percentage for a beer. I would give this beer a 4.2 bearded mugs out of 5. This would definitely be one that I would get at a bar.

I was unsure if I was going to like this one or not. Turns out I do! I like lactose in most beers and it really helps bring out the cinnamon and vanilla flavors in this one. The can art is perfect for this beer! I would rate this a 4.5/5 mugs! Thanks!

I love New Trail! This beer is like a Christmas cookie in a can. What I like is the flavors are very subtle, not overpowering like some fall and holiday beers. I enjoyed trying a lactose beer, it was good! I think the can is is very decorative and I’d rate this beer a 3 of 5 mugs. Cheers🍻

I am a huge fan of milkshake IPAs and this one surely did not disappoint! Loved the cookie can design to match with the sweet cookie milkshake taste to this beer. New Trail does it again with this delicious beer! 4.8 mugs on the mug scale!

I love New Trail and I love cinnamon but I guess I just don’t love it in my beer. I did drink the whole thing but I wouldn’t want another. I’m going to have to rate this one a 2.5 but I’ll definitely continue to purchase New Trail. Cheers!

We’re thankful for a visit from our old neighbors tonight. Can colors snookerdoodlish, kind of duotonish, seen better from New Trail. What will an IPA milkshake taste like says an apprehensive Margie. Doesn’t smell at all like snookerdooodle, almost a sour stink. What a mouthful of flavor explosion, YEAAA! Enjoying the vanilla and cinnamon but lactose aftertaste, NOOOO! Pleasant surprise for Margie, didn’t like the finish. Ron rates it on par with Batches and Cookies by Lizzo.

Cookies and beer two of my favorite things!! New trail is always coming out with crazy holiday beers and this one was very unique. Loved the citra hops with a cinnamon aftertaste. Definitely enjoyed this early on but it left me feeling full from the lactose and cinnamon! Love the can art very fitting! 3.75 mugs!!
